Why our ancestors loved organ meat

Liver

Because organs are yummie! No. Sorry. It’s because they are so nutrient dense. Liver for example has higher levels of almost all nutrients below compared to apple and meat – even vitamine C. I highlighted some interesting differences.

This is the beef liver I had:

I tried to think of nutrient density and Riboflavin while eating it. The taste was the same as liver pâte, the texture was way creamier than meat. I didn’t like it. But I didn’t like mushrooms as a child, and now I like them, a little, so let’s see.

Up next: eating heart.
Kind of looking forward to going to the butcher’s and using the phrase: ‘Can I buy your heart?’
